Name: "Taipei Water Journey" Environmental Education Promotion Program
Purpose: This initiative integrates water resource education at the Taipei Water Park with environmental learning at the Feitsui Reservoir Learning Center and Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant. Through an in-depth study of Taipei’s drinking water sources, water purification systems, and wastewater treatment processes, participants gain a holistic understanding of the urban water cycle in Taipei. Participants are encouraged to share their insights with others, becoming “seeds” of water conservation knowledge, helping to spread awareness and inspire collective action to appreciate, conserve, and protect our water resources. Event Duration: January to December, 2025 (Tuesday to Friday)

Organizers: Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration, Taipei Water Department Sewerage Systems Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government
Participants: Mid and upper elementary school and junior high school students in Taipei City (grades 3 to 9); conducted in classes, with 100 sessions scheduled for 2025.
Cost: Admission and program fees are free of charge. (Schools are responsible for arranging their own transportation, meals and travel insurance.)
Program Content: Through on-site visits to three essential water-related environmental education facilities—Feitsui Reservoir Environmental Learning Center, Taipei Water Park, and the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant—participants gain an in-depth understanding of Taipei’s water cycle. This comprehensive program covers everything from water sourcing and purification to wastewater treatment and reuse, delivering a full water environment education experience.
